Baden-Powell Council Merit Badge Counselor List: All of the counselors on the current list have been contacted and are presently registered and willing to serve. The list can be downloaded here.

 By request of district Scoutmasters, you can now get the list in three different sort orders:

NOTE: In order to protect the data on the list from being indexed by search engines, the merit badge counselor PDF file is password protected. You will need to enter a password to open and print the list. The password is the Scout Motto, in lower case, without a space between the two words. 


Training for Adult Leaders and Potential Leaders:

National On-Line Training: Youth Protection and other BSA Training...(this keeps us compliant with 2 deep (trained) leaders for Campouts and Trips)


From National BSA:
All Scouting Events. All participants in all Scouting activities, such as local tours and weekend camping trips of fewer than 72 hours, need to complete and return to their unit leader parts A and B of the Annual Health and Medical Record. These forms need to be updated at least annually. Part A is an informed consent, release agreement, and authorization that needs to be signed by every participant (or a parent and/or legal guardian for all youth under 18). Part B is general information and a health history.

Summer Camp Information: Baden Powell Council has 2 camps, we as a Troop attend Camp Barton on Cayuga Lake: The Second week of Summer Camp. 2015 = July 12 to 18 (Sun to Sat)
